Christmas is getting pretty close, and you just didn’t have the time for shopping? Do not panic, here are a couple of easy, creative, yet effective DIY ideas that you can do all by yourself. Plus, they are all 10 minutes crafts and we promise – you don’t even have to get your hands dirty!

1. Forgot a Christmas card? Make one (or more) in 5 minutes!

All you need are some old buttons, glue and a thin tip pen. So gather up a couple of colorful buttons and glue them on a piece of hammer paper. Fold the paper in two, draw cute little strings and bows, add your wishes and your cards are good to go!

2. Do not like to cook and especially not on Christmas Eve? No problem!

Make a Christmas fruit tree!

All you need are some tooth sticks and lots of fruits. Use an apple and a carrot as a base and than add up whatever you like. And just so you know, this fruity tree looks great weather you are just too tired to cook or want to make a New Year’s resolution to eat healthier – and it tastes even better!

3. Didn’t have time to get new Christmas decoration? Here’s how to make some!

Use several old bottle caps, paint them white and make your army of snowmen! Glue 3 of them together on a red ribbon (from the back), add a scarf and do your magic by painting dots to make your snowman smile. Perfect fun for kids and those who feel in that way.

4. Want to add a quick personal note to your Christmas ornaments? Piece of cake!

Pick out your favorite photos, print them out, glue them on a cardboard, add a small ribon and voila – your most precious ornament is done! You can make one sided or two sided, or go wild and make the whole family tree out of it! Very simple and even more effective.

5. Love Christmas lights, but are just too lazy to put them up (and down)? Solution’s here!

Only one empty jar and a set of lights will do for this trick. Fold lights down carefully so they don’t tangle and put them in an empty jar to light up your space. Yes, it is that simple and now you can have your own Christmas in a jar!
