Paint Your Life Says Happy New Year!

 
 
 
The premier photo to painting gallery website, PaintYourLife.com, introduces their new blog to start the New Year.  Jack, Paint Your Life's web site blog editor, will be posting great gift ideas, painting and photography tips and news of general interest.  He'll also be telling  some of the heartwarming stories they've received from their customers.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Wow…have we had a year! But we’re not exhausted. In fact, we’re invigorated.
 
Paint Your Life has gone from strength to strength throughout 2007, and it’s been a very exciting year. We’ve expanded our staff, added to our family of websites, enlarged our galleries, broadened our product range and shipping capabilities…and even managed to get through that crazy end-of-year holiday gift season which is always a hectic time for all of us.
 
With this first posting, I’m officially introducing the Paint Your Life blog. 
 
I’m Jack, the blog editor and all-around Jack-of-all-trades. I help with administration (at least that’s what they called it when they handed me the box cutters and the shipping tape…) and I keep the fires burning on the low tech side (well, somebody’s got to feed the dog…). 
 
I don’t know why they let me loose on a blog – they may live to regret it. 
 
Why a blog on a busy gallery site? Well, we’ve received so many questions, comments, and good ideas from our loyal customers regarding everything from our painting methods to photography tips to gift ideas that we felt obliged to start a blog so we’ll have a place to communicate with our customers directly. 
 
Our blog will also be a place to share common interests with anyone curious about the process of turning a photo into a painting, painting from a photo, photo art, painting and printing methods, and taking photographs that result in great paintings. These are all subjects of great interest to me as an ex-photojournalist and ex-art teacher. 
 
I’ll also be talking about some great gift ideas from www.paintyourlife.com and www.oil-paintings-reproductions.com that will please your family and also enrich your life.
 
I’ll be posting topics of general interest, too, and hope you’ll feel free to make comments and ask questions. If you want to talk about your dog or complain about your mother-in-law, feel free to do that too. Hey, we’re easy. I just might want to tell you about my dog…although I’ll probably leave that other subject alone.
 
We’ve received some heart-warming and inspiring stories from our customers and (with their permission) will be passing on some of those to you too. We really didn’t anticipate when we started out selling photos to paintings what an impact they could have on the lives and emotions of people who have received Paint Your Life paintings as gifts, especially as surprise gifts or to commemorate specific family events.
